How It Works
Timber based houses have been around for a long time and well before brick and mortar. Today, timber frame construction is a tried and tested form of construction throughout the modern world. Timber frame construction is a panel method of building that relies on a timber frame as a basic means of structural support.
The pabels are engineered in a factory environment under strict quality control systems using computer aided design and manufacturing machines. The load bearing walls of the house are strengthened using panel materials (incl. OSB, Gypsum board or Plywood) and filled with insulation and relevant piping and wiring. The frame is capable of supporting multi-storey and wide span structures.
The external cladding can be of any standard finish e.g .stone, brick or timber and is attached with stanley steel braces leaving a ventilation cavity. The roof trussus are construsted in the factory and attached onto the paneled walls on site.
